The project involved the selecting a new Warehouse Management System for the UK Distribution Centre, solution design, testing, training and post implementation support. The WMS selected was the Snapfulfil WMS which is a true cloud based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. Easypost was also implemented to provide Carrier labeling for the 3 sales channels: Ecom, Retail and Wholesale. A new Azure integration platform was also deployed in parallel to replace a complex legacy middleware system.
The project was initiated to replace and upgrade legacy Warehouse Management systems across the Distribution network for this Supermarket brand. Red Prairie Dispatcher (DLx) was configured and rolled out to support multiple Supply Chains including Food, Produce, Frozen and Non-Food. A new integration platform was also deployed to replace a complex legacy complex point to point integration between the host Oracle Retail platforms and the WMS utilsing a Webmethods Enterprise Service Bus.
This project was a strategic review of the Supply Chain capabilities to enable Dynamic Fulfilment and Delivery (DF&D) within this Retail partnership. We developed the business reference model, capabilities matrix, business requirements and maturity models to enable the business case to be submitted. The ultimate aim was to dynamically plan orders and inventory movements throughout the Supply Chain, plan customer order final mile requirements to align with primary/secondary fleet movements and release orders to the DC with appropriate timing to ensure that DC workload is smoothed. For many, this enterprise wide, holistic view should be managed via Supply Chain Control Towers.
This project involved building a New Distribution Centre at the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT) for this Supermarket brand. We were engaged in the conceptual modelling, requirements gathering and solution design for one of the largest fully automated sheds in the UK. It was a complex solution which included a High Bay, Low Bay, Customs Bond for BWS, Yard Management including Rail and Booking solution. The business case for such a large shed was justified through the closure and rationalisation of the current Distribution Network.

The project involved carving-out an existing fashion business from a holding group and the Implementation of an ERP system and cloud based integration with multiple 3PL Warehouses in different continents. We joined an in-flight project to understanding the To-Be Supply Chain operational processes and ways of working with the 3PL Warehouses. Our work revolved around business process definition, test planning & execution, training material development and early life support.
The project was to evaluate the feasibility and options to replace a bespoke Warehouse control system at an International Distribution Centre for Postal services company. The Postal Industry is seeing a decline in letters and an increase in the volume of parcels being handled. Due to the inflexible nature of the existing automation design, alternative systemic solutions were considered. However, this Industry vertical is considered “niche” by many software vendors and hence there are not many Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) packages that have Postal Office of Exchange functionality. The study, options and recommendations were presented to the Client.
The project was to implement a Global Forecasting and Replenishment planning solution to enable stock reduction and increased responsiveness within this Pharmaceuticals company. Our work involved managing the overall project, kick-off meeting presentations, local solution definition, data collection, interface development & testing, business process re-engineering, user training & education, business and benefits case development, As-Is & To-Be process mapping, procedure development, cut-over planning & execution, project hand-over and post implementation support activities.
The work revolved around the Business Intelligence and we captured mail item tracking data for Tracked and Tracked & Signed products for the Postal company. A substantial data-set of over 60 million rows, was used to power web applications and reporting tools for the International business unit. The work has involved data analysis, requirements / user story gathering and documentation, solution design, testing, data migration and deployment activities. Solutions were designed to support the implementation of International Postal System, automated Customer Reporting and the Product Pipeline Application.
